Why make yet another time tracker?

The most immediate answer to this is that nothing really existed that did exactly what I, as a user, wanted. I knew I could build it, I knew I had some time to build it, so I did.

The part of that answer that's a bit harder to explain is that I want to make tools for humans — tools that feel easy to use, but are something that experts will love. These tools should respect your privacy, be unabashedly non-corporate, and should ultimately not make this relationship between you and the tool about money.

.duration is one of those tools. I hope you enjoy using it as much as I do.
